The Japanese Box Office includes Detective Conan “Fantasy Film Series” (, Meitantei Conan・Fantasai Chikyū Shō-sha), listing several feature films for each chapter, including the “First Chapter” film, the “Second Chapter” film, and the 2019 animated film, The Fake (, Jikō Jiken: Sūtsu no Bôken), which was released in Japan in February 2020. Starting in Summer 2019, new chapters receive at least one film, and a few receive two or three “Fantasy Film Series” releases. New chapters release this year include:

The first of the “Kakurenbo” film, Detective Conan: Kidnapped by the Spirit (, Meitantei Conan Hakuhō, Suru Goku da Neko), was released on April 21, 2020. The film is divided into two parts with Kidnapped by the Spirit Part I covering chapter 749, and part II chapter 750 and over.
