I finally decided to shift to using Photoshop for my images and video editing. I wanted to replicate some features of Avid or Final Cut Express that were not available in Photoshop at the time of my visit. After a brief trial of Photoshop, I found that it was so easy to work with that it’s impossible to draw back. The features are deep enough to easily or semi independently control the creative aspects of image editing (filters, effects, and layer effects) or editing video (tracks, transitions, transitions, titles, titles, titles, audio tracks, audio tracks, etc.). The blending modes allow you to explore to solve a particular problem (ones that I was unable to solve before). The only shortcoming is that it cannot import easily (although I haven’t looked into importing into the Cubase workflow from Photoshop yet for music).
