Issue with HTTP Request in HttpListener
I am trying to create a web server that listens to requests and serves the client with a certain MIME type if it matches the requested content.
I have got the server up and running fine, but I can’t get my HttpListener to receive and serve up the clients.
I have tried two methods, both which return an error message:
Calling static HttpListener.GetContext() with no parameters
Returns:
The specified context is invalid
Calling the RequestListener.Context property with a request as a parameter
Returns:
The operation completed successfully
This happens to both GET and POST requests.
I have tried the following in each method:
Locating my web.config file and using Request.Url instead of Request.Url.AbsoluteUri
Locating my web.config file and using Request.QueryString instead of Request.QueryString
Putting my http handler in the Site_Load method instead of the global.asax file
Putting the http handler in a separate class and including it in my module file
